About me

My  work reflects a fascination with landscape, structures, lines, symbol systems, and the attempt to create order in an unstable world. I paint in both oil and acrylic, finding inspiration in the built environment as well as the natural landscape. When the sun is out I enjoy walking through industrial areas and suburban trails taking photos for source material. My work is both  graphic and painterly, reflecting my background as both a painter and graphic designer. I have studied art at Gage Academy of Art in Seattle and at San Francisco Art Institute.
